I recently stopped bleeding after the 8 days and me and my boyfriend had sex again and now I’m bleeding again what do that mean? Should I go to the emergency room?
Hello how long will it take for you to respond
Brief Answer:
Due to effect of plan B.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The bleeding that you are having is due to the hormonal disturbance caused by plan B that you have taken. It is a high dose hormonal pill and causes a withdrawal bleeding.
Usually the bleeding stops in 4-7 days. In case the bleeding is recurrent and persistent then it is best to start with a regular contraceptive pill on a regular basis after getting it prescribed from your gynaecologist.
You can post any further questions that you have.
I will be happy to discuss.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Yes. Due to plan B.

Irregular bleeding is the effect of plan B. You can wait and see if it stops on its own in the next few days. It is better to use a regular contraceptive pill instead of plan B.
