It is about my mother. She is 60 years old and regularly taking medicine for High Blood Pressure and Diabetes for several years. Almost a year ago, she had high uric acid problem.Her legs got swollen. She got diagnosed and got a relief. Now, she is suffering from an upper abdomen pain and itching all over her body. It has been almost 3 days. I am looking for suggestions. Since her sister died of liver cancer two years ago; I am a little worrried.

Since your mother is suffering from upper abdomen pain first thing you need to do is usg of upper abdomen and blood test for liver function test as there is liver cancer in family
For itching she can take levocetrizine tablets twice daily for 3 days

Dear Doctor,
My mother had consulted an M.D(Medicine) and did some lab screeings accordingly. Lab reports indicate:
a)Cardiomegaly
b)Normocytic Normochromia
c)Leukocyte in urine
d)High levels of cholesterol and uric acid
However, the ECG report is marked as normal.
I am going to upload the documents in my account. I will be glad if I get any suggestions regarding these. Thanks in advance!

It is more commonly referred to as an enlarged heart.
The causes of cardiomegaly may vary.
Many times this condition results from high blood pressure or coronary artery disease.
Would advise her to take anti hypertensive medicine and a angiography test.
Forms of anemia in which the average size and hemoglobin content of the red blood cells are within normal limits are called normocytic normochromic anemias for which she can take iron tablets
Leukocytes in the urine indicates inflammation or infection along the urinary tract often in the bladder or kidney
She needs to take ciprofloxacin group of antibiotics with her doctors advise
For high level of cholesterol Simvastatin a lipid lowering medication can be taken
Antigout agent can be used to reduce high uric acid production
