Question: Hello,

I have been on crutches for just over a month now, the past week or so I've noticed pain radiating from the hip of my good side, through my testicles and even to my knee. I was wondering if this is normal.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
may be lower ureteric stone or testicular torsion. Follow up with more details.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history it may be due to lower ureteric stone or testicular torsion.

Please let me know do you have history of abdominal pain, burning micturition, blood in urine, fever, testicular swelling?
Do you have history of injury, sprain, heavy weight lifting?

To confirm diagnosis and to rule out any testicular pathology I would suggest you to do urine culture sensitivity, complete haemogram, ultrasound abdomen and pelvis with scrotal region after detailed medical examination and physician's opinion.

Till then you can take tab. acetaminophen 500 mg every 4 hourly. These medications should be available over the counter. use scrotal support.

Let me know I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam Kale.
