Question: Hello, I am writing to ask a question about stds. I was out one night with friends and unfortunately ended up going home with a woman. Roughly two weeks afterwards, I have been getting pins and needles in my testicles on and off. I have no other symptoms such as burning from urinating og abnormal discharge, but I'm afraid I might have chlamydia. I'm just so ashamed to go to my regular doctor. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Regarding STDs

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

You should do a urine spot test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. It would be confirmatory at 2 weeks from exposure.

Apart from that, you should also screen for other STDs like HIV, Syphilis (VDRL), Genital Herpes (HSV type 1&2 ELISA, IgM and IgG) at 4 weeks and then repeat at 12 weeks.

Take care
