Question: Hello, I am having strange sudden symptoms as of this Saturday. I live in southern California, am 66 years old, had a bleeding ulcer in January that was treated. I suffer from extreme fatigue, upper back muscular pain, chills and sweating, also some incontinence that came on this weekend. For the past few days I have not been able to control urination and go frequently. What should I do?
Brief Answer:
Seek Gynecologist appointment immediately
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the question.
You seem to be toxic. There is infection of the ulcer. you did not describe the location of the ulcer but I assume it in the vagina or around the urinary tract tip.
The symptoms of pain, chills and sweating denotes high grade fever which is common in urinary tract infection and infection of ulcers.
You can immediately take TYLENOL double dose or MOTRIN double dose for the pain and fatigue. You should replenish with electrolytes for fatigue and sweating.
Please go to Urgent care for prescription of antibiotic if gynecologist appointment is over 24 hours.
Thank you.
