Brief Answer:
Haemorrhoids can be a possible cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service. I read your query and here is my advice.

I don't think there is a relation between difficulty in passing a bowel movement and blood in urine.

Most probably the blood may have come from anus due to haemorrhoids. Having haemorrhoids can make them bleed while passing hard stools or straining.

This also may be the first sign of haemorrhoids.

I suggest you visit a general surgeon or better a proctologist to inspect you.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
They continue to bleed even after bowel movement.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again dear and thank you for asking again.
It is possible that haemorrhoids cause bleeding most often after bowel movement. It can still continue to bleed even after bowel movement and most probably if you are taking any blood thinners like aspirin.
So they can continue to bleed even after bowel movement.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
