Brief Answer:
Pregnancy is possible

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I'm Dr. Branch, thanks for using Ask a Doctor.

After a miscarriage you would normally ovulate (produce an egg) about 2 weeks afterwards, your next period would be expected to be about 4 to 6 weeks after the miscarriage. Since it has been a month since your miscarriage, your period would be expected around this time, and it would be expected that if you had gotten pregnant during this cycle, the pregnancy test would be positive by now. However, it is possible that you ovulated later than expected and the pregnancy test is not positive yet. Therefore, I would suggest waiting another week and rechecking the pregnancy test to see if it is positive. Another possibility is that your period is just starting now.

Another possibility to keep in mind would be infection in your uterus, so if you are having any fever or pelvic pain, please be sure to get evaluated as soon as possible.

I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions or would like me to explain anything further, I would be glad to do so.
