Brief Answer:
Renal function test is slightly on the higher side.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.

Your RFT (renal function test) is slightly on the higher side, The creatinine level is just above the normal breast range but BUN is normal. Most probably it will be an age-related change or change associated with long-standing diabetes or hypertension.

So, do make sure that your blood sugar and blood pressure is well controlled. Avoid drugs and substances toxic to kidneys like pain killers, over the counter supplements.

You can repeat the test after one month and if the level is increasing, you can consult a nephrologist.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing all the best.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
It could be an underlying CKD( chronic kidney disease).

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
GFR is the abbreviation of Glomerular filtration rate.
A normal eGFR for adults is greater than 90.
It will gradually decline with age.
Chronic kidney disease is diagnosed when a person has an eGFR less than 60 mL/min/1.73m2 for more than three months.
We have to check whether it is a transient change or chronic disease. As of now drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.
You can recheck the test after one month. If the GFR and creatinine are still on the higher side, you might require CKD drugs like bicarbonate etc. You have to maintain an input- output chart ( amount of fluid you are taking and urine out put) for further follow up
