Question: Dr XXXXXXX i am taking Ultracet and tramaja for pain for long time how can I withdraw from tramadol for 5 days I am not taking and very uncomfortable can naxdom500 can help to addiction thanks

Yes, Naxdom for pain control can be taken. If needed, stronger pain-killers can be taken for a few days. Ideally, tramadol withdrawal must be under the guidance of a doctor.

Opioid agonists (Opioid-like medicines) i.e methadone and buprenorphine are also helpful during withdrawal of Tramadol. Please consult for prescription of these drugs. It is also good to consult a psychiatrist if you are experiencing "mental" symptoms like hallucinations, sadness, delirium, etc. Naltrexone helps with addiction.

Be assured that these symptoms are only short-lived.
