Brief Answer:
not according to guidelines

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

In 2008, the guidelines were changed and a lot fewer conditions now require antibiotic therapy.

Previous viral myocarditis is not one of the conditions that is highlighted for antibiotics.

Antibiotics are recommended for: (1)persons with a prosthetic heart valve
(2)repair of a valve using prosthetic material
(3)a previous history of infective endocarditis
(4)certain congenital heart diseases

Many other conditions were removed from the list of persons needing antibiotics.

If you do not have any of the above conditions then you do not need antibiotic therapy according to current guidelines.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
