Does Intake Of Albendazole Cause Infertility Issues?
Question: I am trying to conceive for a second baby and I already have a son who is 5.4 years old . Now my question is that myself n my husband have taken a single dose of albendazole 400 mg chewable tablet before 4 days. Since we r trying to have a baby does this tablet will have any impact ?And my periods for this month is also getting delayed . But usually my periods gets skipped sometimes . Pls do clarify as am much worried about this .

But I heard that once we take albendazole there should be a gap of 1 month to conceive a baby and how far it's true ?

Albendazole is safe and is commonly given before and after pregnancy.
At times it delays conception but not a evidence based fact (just an observation)
so it is advised to try after that month of albendazole intake so that patients are not disheartened on failure to conceive in that cycle
