Does Zyrtec Help Cure Persistent Cough And Bronchitis?

Question: Can I take Zyrtec 24 he twice in a say to help with allergies. I have been dealing with a persistent cough at night and then while outside as of late. Also perfume or strong it does have been an issue as of late. I am just so during what I else I can try to combat this. I do have an albuterol inhaler that I had gotten for bronchitis 2.5 months ago. It helps for short periods of time.

I can understand your concern

Zyrtec is an aantihistaminic medication.Usually we recommend it for alergic itching or sneezing.

In your situation steroids are the best choice.Depending on your situation you can use them orally or inhaler or in ccombination.

If you were my patient i would recommend you to start Budesonide inhaler pufs twice for up to a month.
If you feel breathlessness you can add in the treatment albiterol as needed.

If the situation doesn't improve you should add oral steroids too for some days.
