Brief Answer:
It is safe to take LCarnitine in your situation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that there is no interaction between LCarnitine and Plavix.

So, it is safe to take them both concomitantly. It will not affect your stent.

Regarding statins, you should know that their main action is on cholesterol levels. They have not the same effects like LCarnitine.

But, if you have a normal blood lipid profile and follow a balanced diet (rich in omega 3 fatty acids) there is no need to take statins.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Feel free to ask me again whenever you need!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
