Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for letting us know your health concern.

I have gone through your query and also the attached reports. I would like to offer my opinion.

In the current scenario, though the reports do not show any evidence of malignancy, since she is positive for type 16 HPV, regular follow up is essential. This means she needs a proper gynecological evaluation and pap smear every 6-12 months as indicated by her consultant. Further management can be planned accordingly.

Not everyone with positive type 16 HPV develops cancer. They need only to be prepared with proper pre-evaluation to stall any abnormal situation.

Hope I have answered your query. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
