Brief Answer:
Yes,

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Yes, there are chances where your other autoimmune diseases could have aggravated of caused the leaky gut syndrome. But the process is at cellular level involving the immune cells but not as a result of food particles entering into the gut.

Hope, I answered your query.

Thank you Dr. XXXXXXX

Is there anything I can do, to repair the cellular level involving the immune cells? What about "stem cell transplant from a healthy relative"?

Immune modulating drugs

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

I am sorry for my delayed response.

Yes, such conditions can be managed. Well, the response may not be expected to be great but can be manged to some extent with confidence by immunomodulator drugs like Monoclonal Antibodies.

You may have to consult a immunologist who specializes in such medicine and can advice you suitably.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.

1..Can you tell me what the typical prognosis is for these conditions?
2..Can you tell me what the side effects are for monoclonal antibodies?
3..Is it best to treat the conditions, or allow them to continue the disease process without intervention?
