Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I understand your concerns but there is no need to be worried since most cases are benign and usually there is just a small amount of blood due to hard stool and constipation.

Other causes include hemorrhoids, anal fissure or rectal polyps. These are primarily treated with a stool softener, diet and Sitz baths. It is very important to take lot of fluids, probiotics, high fibre food and stool softeners to avoid hard stool and straining.

If there is no improvement in next few weeks, then colonoscopy should be done to check the whole colon.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
