Question: Can I take Miralax for a colonoscopy if I have chronic Kidney disease stge III? The side of the bottle says not to. My kidney doctor doesn't know I am having a colonoscopy and the doctor doing the colonoscopy doesn't know I have kidney diseasse.

Miralax contains Polyethylene Glycol which is not absorbed from the intestines. This means that whole dosage will be excreted with the stool. As it does not get to the blood stream, it also wont reach kidneys. So it can be taken with chronic kindney disease. Just make sure you drink enough of liquids with it.
