Can Librium Be Taken Along With Clonazepam And Lamictal?

Question: I am currently taking clonazepam, Setraline, Lamictal Risperidone and metoprol. I am an alcholic who is going through some serious withdrawals from alcohol. would it be OK for me to take Librium to help me while taking these other medications?

I read your query and understand your concerns.

Librium have no interaction with any of the current medications and can be taken safely. Having said this 0.5 mg clonazepam equals to 10 mg of librium and take care to limit your librium dose to 100-120 mg maximum per day. For example if you are taking clonazepam 2 mg the librium dose should not exceed 60-80 mg per day. Similarly if clonazepam dose is just one mg librium can be taken 80-100 mg per day.
