Can Ibset Be Taken For A Long Duration?

Question: Hi
Iam suffering from IBS from past 2 years, on IBSET 5 mg for about an month now. Feeling better but kind of addicted to it, what are the side effects of consuming it in long run

Hi and thank you for asking on HCM!
I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows :
As all drugs IBSET 5 mg has side effects. Addiction is not a common side effect of it. Othwerise there are some other side effects like:
- diarrhea /constipation
- hiccup
- headache
It would be great to tell me for how many time are you using it?

Thanks for answering!! Using it daily 1 tab after breakfast! couldn't pass stool normally without taking it.

You can continue your medication up to 3 months .
During these time you will change your lifestyle and diet to a healthy diet.
After 3 months you should ruco sult if you will continue the medication or not.
