Can Eldoper Be Taken For Vomiting?

Question: elderly person, diabetic - has been vomiiting - can i give her eloper? she does not have an upset stomach.... yet.

This drug can be given to diabetic person.

Detailed Answer:
Eldoper contains Loperamide. This drug is rather used in case of diarrhea than vomiting. However if you are sure, this person will have diarrhea, than this drug can be given even with diabetes.
For vomiting much better medicine is Thiethylperazinum or Promethazinum.
