Are White Patches On Both Sides Of The Throat Indicative Of Acute Tonsillitis?
Question: HI Doctor
I HAVE ACUTE TONSILLITIS...i can see some whitch patch on either side near the voice producing tongue small tongie some bulge has happened inside ..seallowing os becoming difficult.
I went to nearby doc today.
She is just 2 years into practise however she diagnosed it as acute tonsilittis.
She has given medicine as follows
Cefpodoxime proxetil and potassium clavulunate200 mg both morn nd night
Monticope in night only
One povidone gargle soln
Multihealin morning
Gastroresistant tablets in morning
Is she diagnosing it correctly..right sight tonsil is bigger than left side..

Hi Doc..My i can see a lump inside just at the start of oesophagus..is that also tonsilitis..the bulge is there and I am having difficulty in swallowing..on the left hand side i can see the pain reducing..however on the right hand side the bulge is there...can you let me know if that bulge will dissapear or will it take more time..
