About A Week Ago I Started Having Some Pain In

Question: About a week ago I started having some pain in my upper left calf muscle right below the bend of my leg. Not unbearable pain just a dull pain. I ask if I may be a blood clot? It is not warm to touch no redness. However, I can see my blood vessels in a way it looks bruised but then again not really. Today whilst rubbing it, I feel like I feel a knot there. I have no insurance but this is beginning to really scare me. If it is a blood clot how can I know? I have been taking aspirin one pill (low dose) at night incase it is but I just don't know.
I haven't hurt it as far as I know
If it is a blood clot how long do I have?

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I want to see a picture of your leg so you can send them mail at YYYY@YYYY .

There is a possibility that it can be a blood clot since it has redness ,a knot, and pain.
Usually thrombosis has more sudden and intense pain accompanied by swelling.
You may need to do an ultrasound of the leg and a total blood count and DDimer.
Continue aspirin as usual. Also you can take ibuprofen for pain.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
I can't see a picture yet.
I think if it is a blood clot you may need treatment as soon as possible.
The survival rate of dvt varies 97-95% to 75-61 %if complicated with pulmonary embolism.
So if dvt is suspected you should get evaluated and treated as soon as possible.

Brief Answer:
Doesn't seem anything suspicious for thrombosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
I can see the attached photos and the calf looks quite normal.
There is no redness or swelling anywhere in the calf in the photos you provided.
I think you don't have to worry about possibly thrombosis because there is nothing seen that can suspect it.
It can be just cramping or muscle pain.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
