Hello!

Welcome on - Ask a Doctor - service!

I passed carefully through your concern and would like to explain that your doctor's decision seems rationale.

Your Cha2-ds2-vasc score is less than 2, so taking anticoagulants doesn't offer any additional benefits

Instead, you could use an antiagregant, like Aspirin 80 mg - 100 mg daily.

In addition, a careful BP values control is recommended.

Hope to have been helpful to you!

In case of any further questions feel free to ask me again.
