Why Are My Hands And Legs Are Peeling?

At first my hands started to peel. The inside of my hands. that has cleared up. Now the soles of my feet are peeling. No itching and it is not between my toes, no foot odor nor itching. It is just like my hands only it seems worse. The peeling is on the bottom and the sides and heels of my feet.

Hi,

It seems that probably you may be having keratolysis exfoliativa. It may be due to excessive sweating. Initially there may be airfilled blisters. The blisters rupture. And create peeling appearance. The exact cause is not known. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. The symptoms are aggravated by exposure to irritants including water, soap, detergents and solvents. Eventually normal skin forms, but frequently exfoliative keratolysis recurs within a few weeks.Protection from irritants like soap and detergents is needed.Emollient hand creams especially those containing urea, lactic acid, or silicone may be applied. I think you may be alright. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
