Suggest Treatment For Eye Infection Caused By Trauma

Hello.Yesterday I burned a plastic string, but a piece of plastic popped off and hit my right eye. I am a contact- lense wearer. When I woke up my eye was "glued" shot (green), and then started discharging a yellow sticky goo.The eye is now red and my vision on that eye is blurry, even though I've changed my contact lense. Do I need to see a doctor right away, or can it wait until tomorrow? And should I avoid wearing contacts?
