Hello!
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The way you describe it might be
tonsillitis (inflammation of tonsils) or
laryngitis.
Laryngitis is an inflammation of your voice box (larynx) from overuse, irritation or infection. Laryngitis signs and symptoms can include:Hoarseness,Weak voice or voice loss,Tickling sensation and rawness of your throat,
Sore throat,Dry throat.
You can look at your throat,if your tonsils are red, swelled and painful it is tonsillitis. If your tonsils look normal then probably the cause of your sore throat is laryngitis.
This might due to weed smoke that can cause irritation and inflammation of your throat.
Cold foods and drinks can help to reduce the inflammation and to relieve the sore throat.Eat smooth foods and green vegetables and absolutely don't smoke weed.
If you start to have fever, notice
white spots in your throat,have
difficulty breathing and if your actually symptoms last more than 1-2 weeks you should consult a doctor because it might be an bacterial infection and need antibiotics to be treated.
Hope my answer has helped.
Take care
