My baby girl is having loosestools from yestaday, she is 6 monthsold , almost 9 loosestools in 2 days, gave eateogerminia and t&d to her ones both days
Thanks and welcome to healthcare magic.
Most probably your daughter is suffering from viral diarrhea.
Except giving ORS solution to prevent dehydration and normal feeding nothing else is required.
The infection is self limited and nothing to worry.
Hope this answer serves your purpose.
please feel free to ask further queries if any.
My daughter is 16monthsold. She is suffering from vomit and loose motion from last 3 days. Is it ok to give her PERINORM syrup.
Vomiting and loosestools in a 16monthsold girl suggests the features of acute gastroenteritis.
Things to do.
1)look for signs of dehydration, hydrate the child with plenty of fluids at least 200 ml of fluid with every bout of loosestool.
2) if fever is present should start on antibiotcs.
3) Ondansetron is better than perinorm, but can be given.
4) do not give drugs to stop loosestools.
