My brother in law has a swollen leg. He had a leaky vein and had a procedure done to shut down the leaky vein. Now his leg is bigger. Saw a red line on his leg.
Hi, Welcome to HCM forum, Leg bigger indicates probably a swelling, can be secondary to fluid accumulating under skin or even due to congestion of the vein. Keep the limb placed lifted above the level of the body, then the swelling should decrease. If pain increases or swelling worsens, you need to consult your doctor. Take care. Happy to help.

Hi Welcome to Healthcare-Magic In the event of absence of pain there is no cause for concern. The reason could be due muscle spasm. If the oedema is gross possibility of venous disorder like varicose vein need to considered Kindly send clinical photo for further assessment Take care

I am.having visible very visible veins on my shoulders chest arms hands palm.of.hands....my hands are also.red for some.time now but.veins.is.new. im not pregn
Its ok to have such a condition. Some people have this. Its a concern if these veins itch, burn, sore, or swell up, or leak blood under the skin, show black-brown spots. If such a thing would happen any time ( esp leg veins ) then you must show to a doctor or else conciser this as normal. Even certain white skinned persons show up such veins but its normal.
