What causes white puss on the back of throat ?
i have been getting big white puss pockets on the back of my throat and they hurt also my tongue hurt. it has white swollen things all over and are extremely painful. i wake up in the morning with my mouth so swollen i can barely talk.

A puss pocket in my throat popped. I swallowed it and it was oozing. Whats the harm that could come? My throat is very sore on one side.
Swallowed pus would not harm you unless you are immunological incompetent. It would be better to get this sorethroat and oozing discharge addressed.

Fine rashes on the face if associated with itching or redness could be due to a allergic reaction. Avoiding the allergen and anti-histaminics may help. Pus pockets on the tonsils surely indicate bacterial tonsillitis which need antibiotics.

Try betadine gargles. You also will need a course of antibiotic. Presence of pus is concerning and needs to be addressed at the earliest. worthwhile to see your doctor.
