Is diabetes the reason for neuropathy in feet and hands?
I have neuropathy in both feet and hands, the nuerologists I have visited want to blame it on diebeties but I have never had it. So they said well maybe I had been prediabetic for a long time but no longer was. Which answers nothing, leaving me very frustrated and still numb.
I thought I had neuropathy but emg results say I dont but I still have pains in my legs and feet.i dont have diabetes
There could be several reasons for pain in legs and feet. Also Normal EMG results do not rule out neuropathy. You must see your doctor who can clinically examine and confirm the diagnosis. This is a common symptom.Whatever is the cause, regular exercise, weight maintenance, proper nourishment and some nutritional supplement will be useful. Though if we find the cause, management would be better.
