Hi. Welcome to HCM. Ectopic pregnancy occurs when your fertilized egg implants somewhere outside the uterus-usually the fallopian tube and begins growing. ("Ectopic" means "out of place."). Eventually the abnormal pregnancy will grow and could cause the tube to rupture; if this occurs, severe abdominal pain and bleeding will result. Some signs of ectopic pregnancy are vaginal spotting or bleeding, you might also suffer from abdominal or pelvic pain and vomiting. You may also have an odd pain in the tip of your shoulder, caused by internal bleeding that irritates nerves that travel to your shoulders. Mild pain in abdominal region is common in early pregnancy, but if u above mentioned signs and symptoms its better to consult your treating doctor. Ultrasound confirms the diagnosis. I wish u a normal pregnancy. Regards.
