Yes...I have been on a low dose of Zoloft (50mg.) for about 10 years...recently my husband passed away and the doctor has increased it...I am now taking 150mg. I have put on weight and I'm struggling to get it off...can Zoloft cause weight gain and make it difficult to lose the weight...
Usually antidepressants except mirtazapine do not lead to weight gain, but in few cases weight happen. You should get your thyroid profile done. May be due to hypothyroidism, you have got weight gain. You can do daily exercise or dietary change to decrease the weight. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
