My ultrasound result says that " minimal free fluid with otherwise unremarkable sonographic evaluation of the pelvis? What does it mean?
Hi, Thanks for writing in. The pouch of Douglas is an anatomical area behind the uterus which usually does not contain any fluid in normal circumstances. In many women little fluid can be seen during the time of ovulation (14 days before onset of periods) and this can be considered normal.

I would get a n ultrasound but no money and free clinic makes u get a urine test if it's not positive no ultrasound

I done tvs ultrasound today the result say that i have minimal fluid at endrometrial cavity and at the cul de sac.do i have to worry?
hi, the results have to be interpreted in light with your clinical history otherwise it is difficult to comment. The free fluid in sac may come from a ruptured ovarian follicle which is normal, infection, ruptured ectopic and so on. Fluid in the endometrium may come from infection. Please upload a detailed clinical history and examination findings for a better opinion. Dr Madhuri Bagde Ob Gyn
