to me it is not very useful, and even potentially dangerous. After strenuous exercise, temperature is raised. Ice could cause drastic temperature drops. This could be potentially fatal if the hypothalamus, the brain temperature center reacts by ordering excess temperature increases reflexes. Person might die of reflex hyperthermia. thanks
