is it dangerous when you have sleepapnea when the water chamber begins to deteriorate?
I dont understand what is water chamber but for sure sleepapnea is dangerous because it does not allow the carbon dioxide to come out causing acidosis and further causing apnoea due to deoxygenated blood supply to pneumatic area to brain.
Better you consult neurosurgeon along with ent surgeon.
Get well soon.
Is the a way to tell how long i've had sleep apena?
Good day. Sleep studies give an assessment of sleepapnea. However, we cant pinpoint the date of onset of sleepapnea. Sometimes, an Echocardiogram may show elevated right sided heart chamber pressures and pulmonary hypertension. AN arterial blood gas analysis also may show carbon dioxide retention. These are hints that the sleepapnea may be long standing.
my father advice bipap support. how it works
hello , bipap will keep the pressure in the airway while sleeping, therby preventing its collapse and reduces the sleepapnea. thanks
