At this young age, you will not get heartattack, but for ruling that out you can do a ECG of the heart and let it be seen by a cardiac physician.
what are the symptoms of a heartattack?
These are the symptoms of heartattack: chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting and palpitations. If you have any of this symptoms you should immediately go to Emergency room and contact your cardiologist. Wish you good health. Dr. Behar.
Does the risk of having a heartattack increase with a histerectomy or menopause?
Hello and welcome to HCM,
The risk of heartattack is not related to hystrectomy.
Menopause is associated with fall in levels of estrogens and progesterone.
Estrogens have a protective effect on the cardiovascular health.
After menopause this protective effect is lost and the female is at similar risk for cardiovascular diseases as their male counterparts.
Thanks and take care
