hello,
Black, maroon blood stain in stool is indicative of lower GI bleeding. Since it is a painless bleeding it is advisable you see your own doctor when possible ASAP for some investigations like colonoscopy to rule out any abnormal bleeding. There no need to panic about the situation at this stage.
Wish you good luck.
