Hello, my right floating rib hurts. It comes and go's .. Any thing serious ? Thank you!
You are having pain in you ribs which comes and goes and want to know is it serious.
It seems like their might be some muscle pain caused due to excess of pulling, their are chances of rib fracture and if you are talking about back pain then it might be from kidney issues.
Its not so serious, but i still recommend you to visit near by physician to have it checked.

I've been having a pain under my left rib for about 6 months now. The drs have no idea what it is after a clear chest xray and rib ultrasound. Floating rib?
If the pain is deep in the abdomen , then I suspect it could be due to problems in the stomach or spleen. The problems in the spleen can be identified with ultrasound but you may need an endoscopy to assess the stomach health.
