I Get Very Sharp Pains And Burning In My Eyes While Driving.

at night when driving or in door light i get very sharp pains and burning in my eyes so bad that my vision gets shakey, i was told many years ago that my eyes dont dilate in the light but this is becoming a hardship at work and driving what could this be

hi,thanks for query.It is better that you consult a eye specialist.Normally as explained to you earlier,pupils dilates when there is poor light and it constricts when there is bright light.Due to some reason this mechanism is not proper this can lead to this kind of problems.You have not mentioned your age so further guidance is difficult,but still get your blood sugar checked and see a doctor.

you have not mentioned your age ,whether you are using glases or not,any previous refractive surgery,any systemic disease.
right now consult any good ophthalmologist and get your retina checked up
