Hi,

Tranexamic acid is an anti-fibrinolytic medication used to treat or prevent excessive blood loss. It can also reduce clots in the blood. It has been used successfully in many surgeries to reduce peri-operative blood loss. You can definitely take the tablet to reduce bleeding complications.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
