Will Taking Antibiotics Affect The Birth Control Pills Taken At The Last Cycle?

started to take antibiotics that i didnt know could affect my birth control during my last cycle. I did not have sex while on it. however I finished on my last active pill and had sex 2 days after my period and was taking my pills as ushual and took plan B after just in case what are the chance you tink i could be pregnant

Not all antibiotics interact with birth control pills. Antibiotics like Rifampin and Griseofulvin interact with birth control pills and sometimes cause contraceptive failure. Common antibiotics doesn’t interact with pills and you don’t need to worry about it.
