Pediatrician Dr. Suryakanta Baraha's  Response
hello,
contraceptives are given to you to regularise your periods.but for this period you cannot conceive due to contraceptive effect.after 3 months when your period are regular ,you can try for pregnancy.but you mentioned there is anovulation.so first to find out the cause.it may be Hormonal imbalance, eating disorders, hypothalamic dysfunction, hyperprolactinemia, polycystic ovary syndrome, luteal phase defects, or tumors of the pituitary gland adrenal gland or ovaries, primary ovarian failure, resistant ovary syndrome and autoimmune oophoritis.Once the probable causes of anovulation is known its easy to treat.drugs like clomiphen, hcg helpful in causing ovulation. consult your gynecologist for it. take care
