Will Not Treating A Nose Bruise Cause Squidgy White Bump Inside Skin?

Hi there,

I recently banged my nose and ot cracked, I did not attend a doctor. I now have a squidgy white bump inside my skin, it feels like a cartilage! It moves if I press it and I feel pressure in my nose as a result.

Hope you can provide guidance?

in my opinion trauma to nasal dorsum can result in nasal bone fracture. I would recommend x-ray lateral view nose to get done. and local examination. if it shows fracture but no external deformity, nothing needs to be done, just splinting will be required for few days. if it is displaced fracture, it should be replaced within 4-7 days, as more delay will lead to fibrous tissue deposition or bone will heal in that displaced condition. then osteotomy will require to replace it. so I would suggest you to meet an ENT specialist nearby.
