Suggest Treatment For Plantar Flexion & Tone Pronation

i have spastic diplegic CP, though i have mild to moderate involvment in my right hand and arm. My main issues are swing phase inconsistancy, excessive plantar flexion, and high tone pronation. i could use a walker, but would love hands-free walking mobility. Is this possible with the right orthotics, meaning get all the support i need from a walker with just 2 AFOs, if they were the right kind? i ll be 26 this month, and have had a dorsal root rhyzotomy, and medial hamstrings/ adductors lengthened i m unsure of hight & weight.

Hello,

It may be difficult with 2 AFOs, as it could lead to increased risk for falling. Anyway, you should try it with the aid of the physiotherapist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
