Will Normal Delivery Happen With History Of Low Lying Placenta?
i am a male aging 30 years from kashmir india,.my wife who had a low Lying placenta during first pregnancy, which she delivered in aug.2011 through LSCS.now she is pregnant again, this time 4th month started,is there any chance of normal delivery this time.
Hi, Thanks for consulting us. Approximately, 80% of women with a previous cesarean section can deliver vaginally if given a trial of labor. In your wife's case, if this time, there is no low lying placenta & no other strong indication for a repeat cesarean, such a trial can be given. Final decision can only be made by her treating Obstetrician after discussion with your wife. Wish you all the best.
