Hi Dr. actullay im suffering from a polycystic ovarian syndrome n know im trying to get pregnant n for this i consult a Dr. she gave me femara tab n gonal-f n those work nw i have the dominant follicles so plz tell me when will that release egg n when will i conceive plz help me

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Usually after reaching around 2 cm size, the dominant follicle will release ovum.
So, you follow with follicular study.
When the dominant follicle reaches adequate size, you can go for hcg injection with your doctor's advice.
This will help in releasing the ovum.
After giving injection ovulation can occur in 24 to 36 hours.
By planning intercourse around that period, the chances of pregnancy can be increased.
Continue vitamin tablets.
Especially folic acid to be supplemented.
