Hello dear
Understand your concern
USG can detect any product in the uterine cavity.
If abortion is incomplete (not if abortion is complete) and some conception product may remain in the uterus it can be easily detected by USG.
Intrauterine pregnancy also detected by USG.
Pre abortion and post abortion USG (after 14th day to confirm retain product)should be a part of abortion procedure to prevent complication and for successful abortion.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
