Why Toddler Is Passing Acidic Stools, Butt Red And Hurts On Cleaning?
My 2 year old son has poo'd about 10 times today and each time it is different. It is acidic and over painful to his skin. He has had green stringy mucusy poo, and dark brown/dark green tar looking poo. His bottom is red and it hurts him to get cleaned. We have been putting the Butt Paste on. What's going on?

Hai...he probably has a diarrhea which is caused by excessive sugars in his stools...called osmotic diarrhea in the medical terms. Stop giving him fruit juices (if you are giving ), but at he same time fruits might be given as the pul p in them helps in forming stools. He will settle down in few days. You should worry if his motion has blood streaks in it or vomiting is green in color. Till then oral hydration solution will suffice along with zinc supplements.
