Hi, i went to the doctor due to the fact that my testicals had a dull pain for a couple days. I gave a urine sample and he said white and red bloodcells where found and that red should not be found in males urine. He perscribed cipro for infection and will be waiting on results from urine tests. Could this be serious?
You may be suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI).RBC in urine may be due to UTI. You need clinical correlation and few investigations. You need investigations like routine hemogram, random blood sugar, renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen and scrotum.Further investigations can be done if needed. You may need antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report. You should drink lot of water.
Hope i have answered your query. Get well soon.
