Why Is The Spot On Thigh Getting Bigger? Is It Related To Cough?

I have had a lump develop in my inner thigh. It started about 3 weeks, I thought it was a spot, but it s now been awhile. It seems to be getting slightly bigger, it s not sore, not even to touch but it s solid. It must be just bigger than the size of a pee. Also at the time of it appearing I got a very bad cough which won t go away. They won t be related will they?

Hi..
Where is the lump exactly?
Is it near the groin?
Is the swelling sometimes disappearing like when you lay down etc.,?
It could be inguinal hernia which is because of the cough..
If the swelling is constant and below the mid thigh it may not be a hernia..
Consult a surgeon for a proper evaluation and treatment accordingly...
Hope this information helps...Take care...
